Tong Yan’s eyelashes were still wet. When Zhuo Xiang Ming released a moment ago, he bit down on his nape, his canines piercing the delicate skin there, alpha pheromone pouring into it. The intense pleasure of AO flesh and blood blending left him trembling still.
During Tong Yan’s rest, the two hugged each other and kissed lightly, the thin quilt reaching their waists. Zhuo Xiang Ming’s palm wandered around his back, his kisses tender.
He pillowed his heated face on Zhuo Xiang Ming’s arm, slowly adjusting his breathing.
”Are you okay?” Zhuo Xiang Ming asked.
”Hmm.” Tong Yan mumbled, “So comfortable.”
Zhuo Xiang Ming immediately lowered his head to stare at him, his eyes were deep and dark. Tong Yan poked his face: “That’s creepy.”
”You always provoke me.” Zhuo Xiang Ming suddenly turned over and pressed him down, burying his face in the hollow of Tong Yan’s neck, kissing him.
His body became hot and restless again. Tong Yan tried to hold on to his sanity, asking: “What were you holding just now?”
A muffled voice came out from under the covers: “Express delivery.”
”What express delivery? What did you buy?”
Zhuo Xiang Ming: “Express delivery from the hospital.”
Tong Yan thought for a moment, then stepped on Zhuo Xiang Ming’s shoulder in the quilt, turning over the covers to get out of bed.
He sat on the rug by the bed, dragging over the quilt that was dropping over the corner of the bed to cover up his body. Then he left to tear open the express delivery box. Inside were two neatly arranged rows of eight spray bottles, the same type that always sat on the bathroom counter. He was very familiar with these mouthwash-sized glass bottles, the medical label read, Alpha Contraceptive.
Tong Yan took out a bottle and held it thoughtfully.
Zhuo Xiang Ming quickly chased him down. Sitting beside him, he hugged him and said, like he was teasing an ignorant child: “I can’t let you drink this.”
Tong Yan leaned on his shoulder. Neither of them was wearing clothes. The setting sun of twilight leaked in through the curtains that had not been fully closed, the orangish light falling on Zhuo Xiang Ming’s chest and Tong Yan’s bare legs.
”Stop using this.” Tong Yan said.
Zhuo Xiang Ming asked: “What?” But he didn’t have a confused expression on his face.
Tong Yan turned over and sat on his lap with his hands on his shoulders: “Let’s have a baby.”
Zhuo Xiang Ming’s face stiffened visibly, his jaw tensing: “It’s too early.”
Tong Yan slumped: “But, my estrus is still abnormal, and it’s very difficult to get pregnant without…without going into the reproductive cavity, right? So, you don’t need to use it.”
”And on the slim chance you get pregnant?”
Tong Yan: “Even better.”
“Out of the question.” Zhuo Xiang Ming said resolutely.
”Oh …” Tong Yan was still being sulky, “Do you hate children?”
Zhuo Xiang Ming: “How could I hate anything you give birth to? Don’t think I’m just paying lip service. Every time I see that look of yours, I want to help you make a soccer team.”
Tong Yan asked: “What look?”
Zhuo Xiang Ming squeezed him, gritting his teeth: “Freshly f#cked look.”
Tong Yan blushed and said: “You’re all talk.”
He felt that his idea was very good. This year’s summer vacation was very long, he had enough time to create a human. If he got pregnant, a gap year wouldn’t affect anything, and if he didn’t get pregnant, he could still go to school normally.
Zhuo Xiang Ming wasn’t worried about his education, a one-year gap really wasn’t a problem for Tong Yan.
He was just reluctant. He hadn’t even started spoiling this boy yet, how could he want to bring a child into the relationship?
”Is it really no good?” Tong Yan asked. He didn’t insist anymore, and he didn’t look upset, just purely curious.
”Not now.” Zhuo Xiang Ming cupped his chin and kissed him. Tong Yan tilted his head in response, stretching out his tongue to lick inside Zhuo Xiang Ming’s mouth. After withdrawing, he bit the alpha’s lower lip: “As you wish.”
Zhuo Xiang Ming carried him to the bed. The passion was still lit, and the two rolled into the quilt again.
”Are you angry?”
”No.” Tong Yan magnanimously said, “If you’re not ready, we can wait.”
God wasn’t ready for it, but it did seem that way come to think of it.
Tong Yan smiled, the evening light didn’t reach the bedside, but Zhuo Xiang Ming felt that he was still glowing, beautiful and precious, dazzling.
He caressed the sex gland in Tong Yan’s nape, his body stuck to Tong Yan’s warm belly. There was a mark on the nape, a treasure box he’d finally found, where he could store this pearl away.
After the college entrance exam vacation, Tong Yan put his wedding ring back on, this time, he would never need to take it off again.
On June 10th, Tong Yan celebrated his 19th birthday and was simultaneously granted the right to independently handle his mother’s and maternal grandfather’s estates.
Under Zhuo Xiang Ming’s care, only a few procedures required him to be personally present. Tong Yan finally received all his trusts, and after cutting out the large inheritance tax, he became the youngest wealthy man on the wealth list.
Lin Yue Hua’s condition stabilized, and he and Zhuo Xiang Ming traveled all through late June. On July 5th, Tong Yang and Zhuo Jia Shuo’s wedding was held overseas, at the place where they first met. They crossed half the earth and arrived at the wedding venue five days in advance.
Because Zhuo Jia Shuo was found to be unexpectedly pregnant, he temporarily hid from both parents, only daring to speak to Zhuo Xiang Ming.
Tong Yang wasn’t as flustered as Tong Yan imagined he would be, he was somewhat nervous, but there was more of the excitement of a novice dad, and the stability and reliability of a husband. He always stood behind Zhuo Jia Shuo, staring at Zhuo Jia Shuo, habitually using his arm to guard Zhuo Jia Shuo’s lower back, even Zhuo Xiang Ming forgot to denounce him for getting his younger brother pregnant before marriage.
This happy event caught everyone off guard, the flowers and wine at the wedding had to be changed. In order to avoid tiring out the omega, some procedures also had to be cut and adjusted. Zhuo Jia Shuo was the type who liked to focus on small details, but at this time, he had no free time to stare, so Tong Yan and Zhuo Xiang Ming became the only people who could make decisions. They frantically ran around, along with the wedding planning team.
The couple said I do, exchanged rings, and kissed in front of the priest. When the newlyweds kissed each other, Zhuo Xiang Ming and Tong Yan, seated at the family section, applauded, sending their blessings.
During the noisy applause and the subsequent dance music that flowed out, Tong Yan thought of his own wedding day. The weather was also good. That morning, he changed into a white suit, tied a bow tie in the mirror, ran through the procedures with the young lady in charge of him one last time, then went out to the car.
Perhaps Zhuo Xiang Ming also thought of that day. At that time, they didn’t know that their partner would become The One. One had no plans to look for it, and the other thought they still had a long way to go to find it.
The two exchanged glances, Tong Yan smiled, his round eyes curving up, covertly grabbing his partner’s hand.
But Zhuo Xiang Ming was more liberal than him, bowing his head to kiss him.
Zhuo Xiang Ming was also more sensitive than him, because Tong Yan saw that his eyes seemed to be a little red, although only for a brief moment.
Thank God it was you.
This is it, a very simple slice of life novel, thank you all for your companionship during this time.
Freshly f#cked- I couldn’t find a succinct translation of 挨操, so I went with this. 挨 can mean suffering/endurance, 操 is slang for f#ck. So rough sex, I guess.
Hope you guys liked this novel. I’ll finish up re-translating FOD, and the last few chapters of DFC. Then I’ll tackle the extras.
Thank you for the wonderful translation! ♥️
This story was really a proper slice of life, realistic rather than particularly moralizing about anything while still making a lot of great points about relationships and love. I liked it a whole lot, it really stands out from its peers
Thank you so much for translating! <3
But yeah, this is definitely a beautifully written omegaverse, enjoyable and satisfying. I loved the fact that they didn’t forcefully reconcile with their families and move in together, being an independent household is still the best option imo. Psychologically speaking their foundation is solid and I don’t even feel the need for any extras about their future life, they’re just that reassuring for me as a reader as well.
Thank you so much for all your hard work!
