Please Don’t Hit Me

Update Schedule---Kinda

I don’t know a lick of Chinese, but I’ve been inspired by people like enxiao who can make sense out of MTL. I always see readers say how trying to read MTL gives them a headache, so I figured that as someone who doesn’t get a headache from MTL(about 90% of the time…) I had a duty to fully translate one or two novels to give back to the BL community as thanks for all the years of entertainment, then disappear off the face of the earth.

As per usual, if anybody who CAN read Chinese wants to take over a story I’ll drop it. I’ll be happy to see these stories get the professional treatment.

I won’t frustrate myself for accuracy, so things won’t be professional. If I absolutely can’t understand it, I’m guessing it.

The type of stories I like are low drama, with competent(and sometimes OP) characters.

  1. First of all I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question in which
I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before
writing. I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend
to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or
    hints? Cheers!

  2. Defeat the demon lynx immediately without any
training because as a shadow fighter you will never be going
to die at any price of time.

  3. I am really really truly amazed! I had no idea what MTL was until I read your post (after I read all the available chapters for FOD). I didn’t even know that was possible. You did such a good job with FOD that I can’t believe you don’t know any Chinese. I’m normally a ghost reader, but I was so impressed I had to write something. Anyhow, thank you for all your hard work!

  4. … oh my goodness… and here I thought these translations were done by a Chinese person.
    I’m shocked!
So, basically, if I can understand the horrendous amounts of grammatical mistakes, I can try translating?? haha, ha. That’s seriously amazing; thank you so much for putting your talent up there! If not I would have never heard of FOD geezus…

  5. Thank you so much for all the chapters!!! I really enjoy your translations, I didn’t even realize you didn’t know Chinese cause your work is so amazing!!

  6. *gasp* All your translations were MTL ?
You… What are you ? It is such a high quality translation, are you a fairy ?
Thank you. Please take my tears as a gratitude !

  7. Helloooo I absolutely love FOD! And your translations r amazing 😀 I was just wondering what MTL translator do you usually use?

  8. *grabs thigh*
Please don’t disappear off the face of the earth (T_T) You are doing such a wonderful job!!

Note: definitely inspired me to try my hand at MTL (started, no BL series yet though).

  9. Are you my sister in another body? Everything you say about mtl, I feel the same. Lately, I’m feeling strangely obligated to mtl for the community because I can understand it so well. Good luck and thx for the food🍜

  10. I’ve yet to read a word but…I’ve read enxiao translation and I come to understand that also MTranslations can be very good if done with love for the novel and commitment^^ Ok now I’m going to read it^^

    1. Me too… They don’t seem like it at all. The ones I read that are machine translated are always so confusing and even though I want to read them, I always had to stop reading it and just keep it in my notes to read later on when I am bored.

      1. That is at first but after reading many novels you get used to it and get to the point that you can read easily, how sad is when they update the Google translator.
